Nice watch, size isn’t too bulky. Numbers are large and legible. Does have an ‘indiglo’ backlight. Display is in ‘reverse’, meaning, black background with light digits, making it unique.
The reason I am returning it, however, is the countdown timer does not remember the set timer after use. In other words, every time you use the timer, you have to set the countdown time again. 99% of other watches that have a countdown timer revert back to the previous set time (even in Armitron’s on-line documentation, their other watches do this). Could be a defect, but it would surprise me for a watch to have this kind of defect, as opposed to it just being a software bug or oversight.

My husband bought this watch at a large and well know sporting goods store for twice the price. After his father spotted the watch and expressed that he too wanted one, my husband went back to the store where he purchased his. When he found they no longer had the watch he promptly took to the internet to find and purchase it. Amazon not only had the same watch but they were also selling for half the price. Great watch for a great value from Amazon. I will now look to Amazon before purchasing from big name stores.

While I normally rely upon my cellphone for the time, I decided before leaving the country that I needed something a bit more trustworthy while skipping across multiple time zones. I didn’t want something fancy enough to have to worry about being stolen, nor was I looking to show off or ‘flaunt’ any type of wealth. My priorities: comfort, simplicity and performance.
Check. Check. Check. The square design gives off a nice, classy look, while so far it is the most comfortable wristband of any watch I’ve ever owned. It is easy to read and adjust the time, with the normal package of a functioning alarm and stopwatch. I am completely satisfied.
I’m not giving this five stars because it is the best watch out there, nor do I think it is an amazing value. But this was exactly what I wanted when I began looking for watches, and that’s the only qualification I use when rating.

I bought this watch because many of the other LED watches I looked at (Diesel and Fossil) received negative reviews for being hard to program. This watch’s programming is pretty self explanatory, I feel the watch is fashionable, is comfortable, and so far has given me no issues. It glows a nice green when you press the EL button and you can see it find during the day.

First off, I’m definitely going to be more discerning when reading reviews to make a decision on a product. I don’t know why this watch has such low reviews, this watch rocks!
I understand that many people don’t like the inverse display(a little hard to read at a glance), but that’s what makes this watch unique, which is why I bought it, plus it was cheap! Hit the back light and you can see the time fine, you can pretend you’re important.
Yes, I agree that perhaps there could be more functionality to it, but it works fine for what I use it for. I usually set it for timing laundry, practicing and the gym. If you’re looking to have an amazing chronograph watch that will save every time and give you more functions, it’s not the watch for you.
However, if you want a $20 watch that looks super cool, actually functions fine and will get compliments, get this watch.
I have received many compliments on this watch.
As a matter of fact, I’m writing this review because I just bought another one- I left it somewhere. Being that the watch is around $20 didn’t upset me when I lost the first one either.
